Starbucks Sweden Campaign

In Sweden friends and family gather daily for Fika. This tradition calls for a coffee break during the day with people coming together for a hot cup of coffee and a sweet pastry. With a tradition surrounding coffee so rooted in Swedish culture, it comes as a surprise that there are currently only 5 Starbucks located in the country. It was impossible to ignore this opportunity, so my International Advertising group set out to solve this problem.

Together we created a campaign to grow the Starbucks brand in Sweden without being too intrusive in regards to the local coffee shops. This campaign also features an interactive "coffee crawl" throughout Stockholm in addition to traditional print and transit advertisements.
